"Field Guide," Intersect Arts Center

Last week, the team at Intersect Arts Center (Saint Louis, MO) shared some installation shots of their current show, “Field Guide.”

I was excited to see how my bird color columns looked given the venue’s alternative approach to printing and framing. They included only the color column, removing the bottom section of each poster (where the series name as well as the bird’s common name and scientific binomial appear). Those details are included on the wall label as well as in the accompanying exhibition catalog.

I wish I could see the show in person, as much of the included work looks thoughtful; short of that, I appreciate being able to “walk through” the installation photographs. A catalog is being mailed to me, too, and I look forward to learning more about each of the included works and participating artists.
